Craving for veggies, some eggs and corn but lazy to cook, made me get to this easy to go recipe. Yes after work it is hard to think about what to cook, so how to cook will never be an option. Also ordering food is sometimes not a healthy option. Well here is an easy go to recipe, for your tiring day.
Butter Fried Veggies:
Ingredients:
- 6 large brown mushrooms
- 10-12 cherry tomatoes
- 1 medium onion diced
- 1 red bell pepper
- 1 yellow bell pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper powder
- 1/2 Teaspoon paprika powder
- Dried oregano
- Salt
- Butter to fry
To Make Butter fried Veggies:
- In large saucepan add 2 Tablespoon butter
- Add in the diced onion and fry till caramelised.
- Now add in bell peppers and saute till little shrinked in size.
- At this point add in the cherry tomatoes and give a quick stir.
- Add in the mushrooms. Fry till the mushrooms shrink.
- Season it with salt, pepper, paprika and oregano. Serve hot.
Corn On Cob:
Ingredients:
- 1 whole corn on cob
- 3 Cups water
- Butter
To Make Corn on Cob:
- Boil water in a saucepan.
- Once the water starts bubbling up add in the corn.
- Let it boil for good 8-10 minutes.
- To serve rub butter against it.
- Enjoy it hot as a side dish.
Deviled eggs:
Ingredients:
- 2 eggs
- 1 tablespoon Chilli Mayo
- 2 tablespoon cooking cream.
- Oregano.
- 1/2 teaspoon sriracha sauce/ chilli sauce
To make Deviled Eggs:
- Boil eggs in water for 15 minutes on medium high flame or till hard.
- Remove the shells once eggs are cooled and cut them to half.
- Slowly take out the yolk with help of a spoon.
- Mix chilli mayo, cooking cream, oregano and chilli sauce till you get a thick creamy texture.
- To put the yolks into the white part of the egg, you can use a piping bag, as I do not own one, I did it with a teaspoon.
- Serve as a starter.
